There is no doubt about the presence of a 5th season in Munich. Whether it is the carnival, the ‘Starkbieranstich’ (tapping of the first barrel of strong beer) or the Oktoberfest – that’s of varying opinions. That’s all one to us.
Whilst carnival we close our gallery from 27th of February until 7st of March for renovation and redecoration of some of our exhibition space.
Immediately afterwards we open on the 9th of March the very first single exhibition of 2017. We are proud to present in its third consecutive year ‘From Russia with Love’ with works by Sergey Sovkov. Paintings of men and still lifes, painted in his distinctive style, magnificent works of art, which are reminiscent of mosaic or stained glass windows. The invitation to the show and opening will follow within the next few weeks.
Remains the reference to the third 5th season – the Oktoberfest. There is quite some time to go… just to reveal a bit of our schedule: Like every year we will show Robert C Rore’s new work before and whilst the Oktoberfest.
If you think about an overnight stay whilst the Oktoberfest or any other time in Munich – here in the center of Munich, right opposite the Kunstbehandlung, located in a quiet back building, there is the new Müller Inn which we highly recommend. The Müller Inn is the former B&B ‘Pension Eulenspiegel’, taken over by new owners last autumn, awaken from a deep slumber, clean and fresh and pretty. And – as the Germans like to say: Gay friendly again!
We are looking forward to your visit.
