Ragazzi Di Vita – An homage to Pasolini by Rinaldo Hopf
Exhibition from 30.10.2014 – 22.11.2014
Which are the pictures that you’ll never forget? Surely images and scenes from Pasolini’s movie ‘Salo or the 120 days of Sodom’ would be up there amongst the ranks. Artist Rinaldo Hopf captivates Pasolini’s genuine cinematic style on paper in his familiar and unmistakable watercolor technique and thus gets precariously close to the more dangerous side of eroticism to which the late filmmaker and poet was drawn to. Hopf’s newest body of work is a continuation of his artistic investigation of the films of Fassbinder and Warhol.
