Jahresausstellung von Robert C. Rore

Es ist die zwanzigste Jahresausstellung von Robert C. Rore in Folge und wieder einmal ist es das Licht (in seinen Bildern), das den Münchner Künstler umtreibt. Zu allen Zeiten, in denen Menschen, in diesem Fall muss man von Künstlern sprechen, Farbe auf einem Bildträger anbrachten, war das Spiel mit dem Licht der entscheidende Faktor zum Gelingen eines Kunstwerkes. Das gilt für die Höhlenmalereien von Lascaux ebenso wie für griechische Vasenmalerei und alle drauf folgenden Epochen der Kunstgeschichte.

Bei Robert C. Rore kommt hinzu, dass seine Bilder um das Thema Mann kreisen. Da gibt es schummriges Licht im Hotelzimmer, gleißendes Licht auf einer mediterranen Terrasse, Licht auf weißer Bettwäsche, das nur über die Schatten sichtbar wird, Licht in Spiegeln, Licht von Kerzen und immer ist mindestens ein Mannsbild mit im Lichtspiel.

Die Vernissage der Ausstellung findet am Donnerstag, den 26. Juli ab 20 Uhr in Anwesenheit des Künstlers statt. Hierzu sowie zum Besuch der Ausstellung möchten wir Sie hiermit herzlich einladen. Annual exhibition by Robert C. Rore

It is  Robert C. Rore’s twentieth annual exhibition in a row and once again it is the light (in his paintings) that drives the Munich artist. At all times, when people, in this case one must speak of artists, applied colour on a picture carrier, the play with light was the decisive factor for the success of an artwork This applies to the cave paintings of Lascaux as well as to Greek vase painting and all subsequent epochs of art history.

In Robert C. Rore’s work, it also revolves around the subject of men. There is dim light in the hotel room, glistening light on a Mediterranean terrace, light on white bed linen that is only visible through its shadows, light in mirrors, light from candles and there is always at least one man in the play of light.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, 26 July from 8 p.m. in the presence of the artist. We would like to invite you to this and to visit the exhibition.
